The Courage to SoTL

چکیده

Using Parker Palmer’s The Courage to Teach, and in particular the notion of undivided life, guide reflections through process collaborative autoethnography, we reflect on our lived experiences with Scholarship Teaching Learning (SoTL). central question being: How does idea life enable SoTL scholars explore notions identity integrity that are intertwined academic practice? Ultimately, found insights provoked us think deeply about identities, while perhaps did not always see ourselves paths he illuminates, his work, ethnographic process, helped illuminate own paths. More specifically, share five themes arising from autoethnography related importance context positionality, defining a scholar, power diminish, relationships community, as method process. Our stories highlight need for community complex, messy, human, remind readers ethics all methods everyday practice include or exclude.
